The issue of making the “Trump Tax Cuts” permanent will be on the table at some point. If it whisks through in a reconciliation bill, that action may happen too quickly and/or easily to demand a campaign — or we may have squishy republicans objecting to make them permanent. Time will tell.
Either way, there is likely to be additional tax reform legislation of one form or another. In that case, a campaign may be planned to support or oppose such legislation depending upon whether the legislation is consistent with the 2024 Election Mandate.
Either way, the campaign will be centered around the messaging that hindering or opposing efforts to implement the election mandate will have consequences in the future primary elections of those standing in the way.
